Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese

serves 2

Ingredients:

2 boxes GOODLES Smokey Dokey mac & cheese

2 tbsp olive oil or sun dried tomato oil

2 minced garlic cloves

4 minced sun dried tomatoes

Pinch of red pepper flakes

2.5 cups chicken broth

½ cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded smoked gouda

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by mincing the garlic cloves and sun dried tomatoes. 

  2. Next add olive oil or sun dried tomato oil to a pan on medium heat.

  3. Add in the garlic, sun dried tomatoes, and red pepper flakes. Cook for a couple minutes until fragrant. 

  4. Next add the Smokey Dokey noodles to the pan and toast for 2-3 minutes (set aside the cheese packets).

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and cook until most of the broth is absorbed and noodles are almost al dente (about 10-12 minutes).

  6. Then pour in the heavy cream and cheese packets, and mix well. Once the noodles are cooked, shut off the heat and stir in the shredded smoked gouda. Season with salt & pepper to taste and enjoy!
