GOODLES Carne Asada Mac and Cheese Fries Recipe
Takes 30 minutes, plus overnight marinade
Serves 3
Ingredients:
Steak and Marinade
1 skirt steak 1.5 to 2 pounds
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
Juice of 2 limes
Juice of one orange
5 cloves garlic, sliced thin minced
2 tablespoons honey
Salt and pepper
Plate
1 bag of frozen crinkle fries - prepared according to package instructions
1 box GOODLES Down the Hatch Mac and Cheese - prepared according to package instructions
Pico de Gallo - store bought or homemade
Guacamole - store bought or homemade
Instructions:
Put the steak in a large bowl or zip top bag and add all of the marinade ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat a cast iron pan or a grill to medium high heat. Cook the steak to char on both sides and bring the internal temp to medium, or your desired doneness.
Allow the steak to cool for 10 minutes. Slice thin against the grain.
Build your plate with french fries first, then the mac and cheese, then pico, guac, and slices of carne asada. Serve.
